A place for everything else
I noticed an interesting yellow mushroom growing out of this pot. Though it faded, I saw others on the way, so I set up a time lapse.
I took one picture every 30 seconds. However, after encoding a video at 30fps, the animation was too slow. I switched to using every other frame, and was happier with the result.
After a reasonable success with my first major snow time lapse two years before, I was excited to try something more ambitious when I saw the forecast of this latest big storm. I used two separate cameras this time. One was in a fixed place throughout to record the main action. The other I moved from place to place, recording for a few hours at a time, to capture smaller vignettes to insert into the video.
